Hello, I’m Lorenzo, a full-stack software engineer based in Italy. My fascination with computers and technology has driven me to create comprehensive systems addressing real-world problems.

My AI Journey

My interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) impelled me to delve into the subject during my studies. Despite initial challenges in implementing AI into projects, developments in language models and transformer-based architectures have now made it possible to create state-of-the-art AI products, even by individuals.

I firmly believe that while AI is set to play an increasingly significant role in the future, it’s the code that wraps around these AI models which truly brings value. Without the crucial ‘glue code’ bridging AI models with APIs, websites and UI/UX interfaces, AI’s usefulness remains largely unrealized.

Purpose of the Blog
